Embraer’s business jet order book reaches a record $8.2bn

Embraer closed the third quarter of 2026 with a record $8.2bn of business jet orders still to be built. The figure is 5% higher than three months earlier and 12% higher than a year ago. Across all of Embraer’s divisions, the order book also reached a new high of $35.7bn.

Demand is still running ahead of production. Over the past twelve months, the executive aviation unit took in about $1.40 of new orders for every $1 of aircraft it billed.

Steady deliveries, best nine months on record

Embraer handed over 41 business jets in the third quarter, the same number as a year earlier: 20 Phenom 300s, two Phenom 100s, nine Praetor 500s and ten Praetor 600s. Over the first nine months of 2026 it delivered 115 business jets, compared with 100 in the same period of 2025, its strongest nine months to date.

New aircraft and services

The quarter also brought the Phenom 300EV, the latest version of a light jet that Embraer says has been the world’s most delivered for 14 years in a row. It is certified by Brazil’s ANAC, the US FAA and Europe’s EASA. Embraer also delivered the first Praetor 600E, to Flexjet, and signed 69 Executive Care support contracts worth around $53m.

What it means for private flyers

A full order book means the most popular light and midsize jets stay in high demand. For charter clients, it is one more reason to plan and book ahead of peak travel dates.
