The Gulfstream IV and derivatives are a family of twinjet aircraft, mainly for private or business use. They were designed and built by Gulfstream Aerospace, a General Dynamics company based in Savannah, Georgia, United States, until 2018. Aircraft power is provided by two Rolls-Royce RB.183 Tay turbofans.
The GIV is an ideal large-cabin, intercontinental-range business jet. Gulfstream’s aircraft have evolved through new technologies and improvements, and the GIV is evidence of this. With a new design, upgraded engines and additional space, the GIV offers great performance in the intercontinental class of jets, so great that Gulfstream modeled most of their latest jets off of the GIV.
